Pop quiz: When pulling up behind a car stopped at a stoplight, you should; a) Slowly and gently come to a stop, b) Hit the breaks and avoid rear-ending the driver in front of you, or c) Scream as loud as you can and get into an accident.
If you picked c, not only should you get the hell off the road, but there’s a good chance you’re the girl in Reddit’s most recent viral clip, one depicting a new driver destroying her Mercedes in what may be the world’s most preventable accident.
In the instantly infamous video, the new driver can be seen facing one of the road’s trickiest maneuvers — stopping at a stoplight. Instead of hitting the brakes and bringing the car to a stop, the new motorist opted for a different approach, screaming at the top of her lungs as her car hurdled straight into another driver stopped in front of her. Though it’s unclear what caused her to forget the location of her brake, the damage was clear, the entire front of her white car crumpling upon impact.
We can only hope that she learned an important lesson about hitting the open road — and that she has some really good car insurance.
